Cold War Jets

The 60mm Air Force collection also includes some green jets, both Army and Navy.

As this 1/72nd scale figure demonstrates, the planes are not exactly 60mm.

Still they are nice little aircraft, and I am sure they will end up in a Cold War squadron.

Fighting to defend my 1/72nd scale free world from Communist aggression.

An aircraft labeled ARMY JET is just too cool to not use in some capacity.

I had those when I was about 8!
The navy one is a Panther (ish)
and the army one is an F86(ish)

Excellent acquisition!

The Navy one definitely looks like an F9-F Panther. The Sabrejet would look completely and totally awesome if sprayed silver and painted with the yellow "racing stripe."

Warflag dot com has a series of free air to air rules with a Korean war supplement!

That is the long term plan Don.

Yes, the Panther was an attractive plane I think. Thanks for reading Steven.
